Terms of Use

1. What RoomPal provides

RoomPal provides tools for shared households, including tasks, shopping lists, shared-expense organization, house rules, calendars, visitors, and related household coordination features. Features may change, be added, enter beta, or become unavailable as the product develops.

2. Accounts and household content

You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for maintaining appropriate access to your household. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use or share. Household members should only be invited with appropriate authorization.

3. Shopping, retailer links, and estimated prices

Shopping and price-comparison features may show estimated prices, availability, missing items, store totals, or links to third-party retailers and marketplaces. Prices and availability can change at any time and must be confirmed with the retailer before purchase.

RoomPal is not the seller of products purchased from a retailer or delivery marketplace. Orders, payments, substitutions, refunds, fulfillment, warranties, and retailer account issues are governed by the third party you choose.

4. Acceptable use

You may not misuse RoomPal, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, use the service for unlawful activity, scrape or reverse engineer protected parts of the service where prohibited by law, or use RoomPal to infringe the rights of others.

5. Third-party services

RoomPal may link to or integrate with third-party services. Their terms, privacy policies, product availability, pricing, and service decisions are controlled by those third parties. A link or listing does not by itself mean the third party sponsors or endorses RoomPal.

6. Intellectual property

RoomPal's software, branding, designs, original content, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Retailer names, logos, product names, and other third-party marks belong to their respective owners.

7. Service availability and disclaimers

RoomPal is provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep information useful and the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that third-party prices, inventory, delivery estimates, or other external information will always be current or complete.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RoomPal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms as RoomPal evolves. We may also suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or material violations of these Terms.
